Lovely stay, the house is just outside the village of Trévières and not walkable. In Trévières there are multiple bakery’s, butchers and corner shops. There are 2 toilets at this property, the lounge is very spacious as is the kitchen diner and bedrooms. It would be brilliant if there were a few more kitchen utensils, no scissors, pizza cutter or placemats and lack of baking trays etc. the moat and ducks are lovely but expect some flies from the cows and water 😃 Overall lovely peaceful stay thanks 😊

Un séjour inoubliable ! J'ai choisi * la situation géographique de La Ramée car idéale pour pouvoir rayonner autour (Bayeux, plages du débarquement…) * spécifiquement La Ramée parmi d'autres gîtes car il est extraordinaire et unique de par son histoire, tout en étant très confortable, parfaitement tenue et très joliment décoré avec beaucoup de goût, par Stéphanie qui nous a accueillis avec une grande gentillesse. Merci Stéphanie ! Nous recommandons chaudement ce lieu exceptionnel et espérons y retourner.

prachtig mooi huis, ruime slaapkamers, mooie gracht om het huis waar eenden in zwemmen. Koeien in de wei, rustige omgeving maar alles binnen 10-15 rijden in bereik.

the was very spacious, more so than the description. there are a lot of stairs to navigate. the main floor has the kitchen with dining table for 8. small TV and seating area. then a formal sitting room / office space with another coach and TV. there is a half bath and utility sink on this level. all bedrooms are up on the next level. there are two large master suites with a jack and Jill bathroom in-between them. this bathroom has double sinks, toilet & a bath tub. one master room has a crib. in the hallway is a shower room that is very up to date with dual shower heads ( hand held & rain head). the third bedroom has four twin beds, small children size sofa and double sinks. there's a ping pong table outside but I would request for it to be cleaned prior to your arrival. the location for us was perfect- 15 minutes from the us cementary & Ohama beach. the town is a few miles away with all the basics grocery, bakery,. the only sounds we heard were the birds, farmers & rain.

What an amazing experience! We felt like we had stepped into the past, but with all the comfort of modern amenities. The setting is like something out of a movie - the kids loved seeing the cows walk back and forth from the field and the ducks and storks as well. The house is clean and comfortable, and Stephanie was lovely and accommodating. The kids loved the big room with multiple single beds and we all slept well. The location was great for trips to Bayeaux, Mont St. Michel, and the D Day sites. We were all sad to leave!
