There were a few small things that stopped me from a 5 star rating. First the positives: * Location * Bed great * Shower great * Big closet * Multi outlet extension cord with USB outlets useful * Door person 24 -7 was great -- both friendly * Restaurants within 2 blocks were great -- more fine choices close by. Bothersome items: * I couldn't get the TV to work beyond the welcome screen. Perhaps pilot error but I tried many possibilities. Didn't matter to us but it might for you. * One of the bedside lamps had a faulty switch that wouldn't stay on. * Having only one bath towel peg in the otherwise ample bathroom doesn't make sense. * Images show only one comfortable chair so that's fine; another comfortable chair (not the desk chair) would be nice. * The balcony sliding door doesn't actually lock. * A supply of trash liners would be nice; I took out the trash myself as we were there 7 days and things piled up. I used a plastic bag from a grocery store.

Great location! Very clean. I didn’t realize that there’s no kitchen. Operates like a hotel without hotel amenities. People working front desk can’t offer nearby recommendations. No trash in the room or way to get rid of food waste. $50USD fee for housekeeping request, which is wayyyyyy overpriced. If cheaper than nearby hotels, worth it. If similarly priced, I’d opt for the hotel.

Great place to stay in Polanco! Clean, safe, and central to great restaurants and parks. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future. Security guard at the front door around the clock. Very responsive hosts! Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway
