This was our 2nd stay here. Loved it so much last year, decided to come back again and explore more of Asheville! This location is perfect for us - close to hiking AND downtown. 10-15 min in any direction led us to beautiful hiking trails, restaurants, breweries, and there’s a grocery store just around the corner. Hosts are friendly and helpful! The house is clean, stocked with anything we needed, and a nice set up for us and our 4 and 7 year old boys. We lucked out and were able to meet baby goats on the property!

A wonderful place to stay with great hosts. Location is perfect for traveling in and out of downtown Asheville and surrounding areas. Their farm was a plus and wonderful treat for the family. I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Asheville! The house was a short drive to everything, easy to find and perfect for small kids.

I was hoping to have a relaxing mtn trip and view from this home. The house was not clean. The inside of the refrigerator and freezer were disgusting. There was very thick dust on the lamps and fans. They didn’t have a warm welcome for us even knowing why we were there. The master bathroom design is insane. The shower is completely open to the bedroom and bathroom so if it’s cold and it was, you freeze in the shower and all the steam from the shower goes into the bedroom and closet. There is no door on the bathroom. However, there is a sliding barn door which you can still see through on the toilet room but the room is so tiny my partner could barely fit when he sat on the toilet as he is 6’3”. The AC/HEAT was also insane and we couldn’t figure out how to get them to work properly so we had to buy fans from Walmart. I would t stay again as it isn’t the mountain escape we were looking for and I shouldn’t feel like I have to clean on vacation especially when I’m paying a large cling fee.

Our family loved our stay at Matthew and Amelia's cozy house. The home was clean and tidy and comfortable for a family to spread out and relax. The kids enjoyed the large Jenga game and hammock and we all had an enjoyable fire in the firepit. Matthew was very responsive and even invited our kids to come meet his goats and look at his garden. Matthew also made local recommendations for restaurants and activities that were spot on for our family. Overall we felt very welcomed and had a very comfortable stay.
