This home has an amazing ocean view from the living area as well as a good deck and nice lawn if weather permist. The open living area is nice, though we wished for a few reading lamps or other ambiant lighting rather than the overhead ones. The king size main bedroom is very comfortable with a really good bed and decent reading lamps. The 2nd bedroom would be fine for anyone with children or other young people who wouldn't mind the cave-like lower bunks or the top bunks with ladder access, but it does limit the possibility of having a second couple sinc ether eis no double bed there. Both bathrooms are really decent. The kitchen is adequately stocked with pots and pans and dishware (a few more drinking glasses and soup bowls could be helpful...). Our host was very responsive and helpful! Overall we had a great stay here and would do it again.

Cute, old place in a quiet neighborhood with the crashing ocean outside and down a cliff. It smells of an old place, but not in a bad way (to us). Parking under the carport saved us from getting drenched unloading our luggage. The tap water and ice tastes great. We built a fire with the provided wood inside. Access to the beach is “down” (south) the street instead of up, as the home manual states. Seating in the living room faces away from the ocean view and is small (a tiny futon backed up to a loveseat, and window bench). There is a tree blocking the view from the primary suite (and the bed faces the closet, not the view). There’s a concrete bench on the edge of the property for two people to watch the sunset. The linens/towels were fluffy and clean, the primary suite bed was VERY comfortable. The thermostat in the bunk room stayed overly hot even though we turned it down a couple times. There aren’t plugs for your phone by the bedside; we used the wall plug with phones on the floor.

Excellent location and beautiful views from the property. Would be perfect for a family with children. There is a bunkbed set up that is pretty cool.

After driving through a 3hr sleet/snowstorm we arrived to find Arch Cape without power. The entry instructions were clear and easy, and we had been contacted during our drive to let us know that we could enter the house prior to the stated check in time to get out of the storm. Once inside we easily found multiple flashlights and fluffy, warm comforters that we wrapped ourselves in to listen to the storm rage outside. The attention to detail was appreciated. Once power was restored we found everything to be as advertised, including a well equipped kitchen. We would definitely stay here again. FYI bring your own wood if you want a fire.

I rented this home as a well needed getaway. What we got was much more. Sitting on top of a small cliff with the sound of the waves below was wonderful. The quietness of other noises was actually very surprising. This is a short drive from the Cannon Beach area, 5 to 10 minutes. We ate all meals at different restaurants over 3 days, using the list provided. If you want hustle and bustle, it’s not at this rental home. This home is for relaxing and it provided it. This is a great place to come and relax after you were out in the hustle and bustle.
