We enjoyed a relaxing weekend at this cozy cottage in the beautiful NC mountains. The home was just as described, with lots of extras. Hardly a need to bring groceries! Joan has lots of food options available. This was a great base for us to explore God’s beautiful creations in this area, while celebrating our anniversary. What a great value for the cost!

We have stayed at several AirBnB's near the Appalachian trail, and this by far has been the best. Easy to get to off the main roads, no gravel or dirt roads or high inclines. Several trailheads with parking nearby. Joan is a great communicator, upon arrival, during , and after. The first place I have ever stayed in where it was warm and cozy upon entering. It can get cold and damp in the mountains! Heated towel bars in the bathroom, and big cozy robes (if you didnt bring your own). One April morning here it was 40 degrees, so those little extras were nice.. More than adequately stocked kitchen, every gadget you could think of was there, and more than the basics. Coffee, creamer, cereal, eggs, bread, frozen pizza. So if you get in late you dont have to rush to Ingles. The views even in the clouds are stunning, and the bird watching is great. We ate out at night, good local fare. Our main reason for travel was to do Trail magic for AT thru hikers so we didn't explore the area much.

Cozy, great cottage! Very comfortable, clean, and lots of character! Lots of personal touches. Joan thought of everything! This place has everything you could need while staying away from home!
