My family booked a long weekend for Spring Break. Easter happened to fall on the 2nd day of our stay. Ken hid Easter eggs for our kids to find, and gave his permission for our mini dachshunds to be there with us for the holiday. We had a great time exploring the wooded area around the treehouse, making campfires, and the girls had a blast on the rope swing. We would definitely recommend Ken and his treehouse, we would love to go back in the future.

It was a rainy weekend and it was great to experience it among the trees in a treehouse. The host had lots of games and paint which kept the kids busy. When it didn’t rain kids had great time playing in the rope swing and looking at deer. There are lots of houses around but once you are up in the treehouse it feels like in a forest with trees and birds. We loved our weekend.

The Treehouse truly was a joy to stay in! Everything about it was quaint but well-maintained, it truly felt like staying in a cute cottage up in the trees. The provided breakfast was appreciated and the firepit made for some warm, toasty nights making smores and sandwiches. The area was peaceful and my wife enjoyed walking around the wooded surroundings, while I enjoyed keeping an eye out for Bigfoot (he's out there!). The beaches nearby were great for beach-combing and my earthy wife was able to feel recharged while I enjoyed a break from technology. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone from the city looking for a unique but comfortable place to stay.

Ken’s tree house is such a magical place. It feels so private and peaceful and we loved being amongst the trees and watching the deer out the window. We also really appreciated all of the thoughtful and personal touches such as the breakfast, firewood, books, dvds and general homeliness of the space. The area is also so beautiful and very close to the beach and charming towns of Freeland and Langley. I would highly recommend Ken’s treehouse and hope to come back some day.
