I only wanted to share positive things, because our stay was truly positive. The drive into the area had construction and the nearby houses looked abandoned, it felt sketchy to me. Once at the cabin, it was great. The description was spot on. All we wanted was quiet time which we got. Sitting on the dock was great, however the traffic was annoying, especially this one motorcycle which went back and forth at least 12 times. Personally, I think I would have enjoyed more seclusion and places to walk around the cabin. I probably should have asked that. The hot tub or shower wasn’t designed for us tall humans. Regardless, we made everything work. We came in on a good note and left on a good note. Thank you for the comfortable place to lay our heads.

Great, peaceful little cabin near Charles Town and Harper's Ferry. Keep in mind this is log cabin in the woods and there were a few bugs we found in the cabin, but it was no big deal and it wasn't like an infestation or anything. It was rustic, be we thought it was a good mix of rustic and modern, it has everything you need, but definitely feels like you're in a cabin. The bed is super comfortable like many others have said! And all the amenities that Dan provided were much appreciated and Dan was super responsive.

Peaceful log cabin in the beautiful mountain state. I couldn’t ask for a more beautiful location to celebrate my husbands birthday. Overall it was a great experience and the location is perfect to explore Harpers Ferry and local hiking trails.

Perfect winter getaway from the city - loved building a fire (and appreciated that the wood was provided!) and sitting on the front porch sipping coffee with a beautiful view. Cabin was the perfect size with all the amenities you’d need. Can’t wait to return when it’s warmer to make use of the river for boating/fishing!
