You will love this two-level home with its two green patios at the front and the back, amazing view of the sea from its spacious balcony, and with a sandy beach on your doorstep. The warm and friendly water makes it ideal for families with children. Relax while your children are playing in the shallow waters. The pool at the back is surrounded by olive trees and lush greenery. It is ideally located for day trips to world-renowned beaches in Chalkidiki and a 45-min ride to Thessaloniki. About children: Children can play safely at the pedestrian walk or grass in front of the house. The pool at the back has a shallow section for small kids. However, you need to watch your children at all times. a) There is a steep and narrow staircase connecting the lower level and the upper level, b) there is no safety gate to block your child using the staircase on either side, c) the railing at the balcony is at a regular height with gaps between the rods, d) there are detergents in the bathrooms within reach. About air conditioning: There is a single air-conditioning unit in Bedroom 1 and fans in all the other bedrooms and the living-room area. Our home has windows on both sides which makes the temperature pleasant on most days. On a very hot day, you can close the excellent quality double windows, and turn the air-conditioning on. Within an hour the entire home will have a very pleasant temperature. If, however, you are used to really cooled rooms (below 70F/21C) our home is not a good choice for you. About smoking: Smoking is not allowed in the house. You are welcome to use smoke in the outdoor areas (front and back patios at the lower level, front and back balconies at the upper level). About our personal items: This is our home. We'd love to share it with you but be prepared to walk into a house with books, board games, more utensils, dishes, cups, pots and pans than you will really need, a lot of decoration items etc. In addition to the basic amenities (cooking, washing, bedding), you are welcome to grab and read a book from the shelves (English and Greek) but let us know if you need to use anything else. We will probably say yes but we need to know and guide you as needed.

O locuinta foarte frumoasa, pozitionata excelent, pe malul marii, dar cu neajunsuri.Exista un singur aer conditionat, insuficient pentru intreaga locuinta.Pentru oaspetii ce-si doresc o temperatura mai scazuta decat cea de afara, pe timpul verii, nu este o proprietate potrivita. In gradina miroase foarte urat a fecale de pisica, iar in toate camerele sunt foarte putine spatii de depozitare destinate oaspetilor, fiind multe obiecte personale ale gazdei.
we enjoyed our stay at Eleni's house. It was by the beach with your own place there. Within walking distance there are a lot of tavernas where you can eat.
Pravi porodični odmor! Bili smo sa troje dece(4,12,15) 14 dana u julu i uživali u svakom trenutku. Kuća poseduje sve što vam može zatrebati( i više od toga), vrlo je čisto i sa ukusom dekorisano. Odlična lokacija za obilazak plaža po Sitoniji i Kasandri(bili smo kolima) mada je i peščana plaža, ispred ulaznih vrata, sasvim odgovarajuća. Bazen ispred zadnjih vrata je bio fantastičan i rado smo ga koristili. Čista i topla voda,bez gužve, pa smo se osetili kao da je naš privatni. Deca su uživala u svim asesoarima koje nam je domaćin omogućio. Eleni je bila vrlo dostupna za sva naša pitanja iako se na žalost nismo uživo videli. Zaista ne možemo naći ni jednu zamerku i voleli bi da se vratimo sledeće godine.
Casă frumoasă și dotată cu tot ce e necesar. Zonă liniștită cu o mare și o plajă super chiar în fața casei. Un motiv clar să fii acolo. Noi am stat și a doua oară.🤗
Das Apartment ist noch besser als auf den Fotos dargestellt. Es ist sauber und alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Lage ist toll, es sind keine 10 Meter bis zum Strand. Der Strand ist sauber und das Wasser glasklar. Der Eingang ins Meer ist lange flach, somit ist es super für Kinder. Wir waren Ende September dort und hatten den Strand fast für uns alleine. Eleni war so nett und hat uns Liegestühle zur Verfügung gestellt. Auch ein großer Sonnnschirm war vorhanden. Parkplatz befindet sich auch fast gleich vor der Tür. Im großen und ganzen benötigt man kein Auto. Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Auch ein kleiner Supermarkt für Kleinigkeiten. Möchte man aber bei Lidl bspw. in größeren Einkaufsläden einkaufen, dann benötigt man ein Auto. Der Ort ist sehr klein, möchte man also andere Strände oder Ortschaften erkunden, dann auf jeden Fall mit Auto. Die Nachbarn sind super nett und haben unseren Urlaub noch mehr versüßt. check-in hat super funktioniert, obwohl wir sehr spät angereist sind. Obwohl Eleni nicht vor Ort war, hat die Kommunikation reibungslos und schnell geklappt. Ich kann den Aufenthalt vei Eleni wärmsten empfehlen, nur sollte man genug Mückenschutz haben, da es extrem viele waren. Aber möglicherweise lag es nur daran, weil wir Ende September da waren. Sollten wie wieder Chalkidiki besuchen, dann würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder bei Eleni übernachten.

Great quality restaurants and super-markets are in walking distance. Gerakini is located between two peninsulas: Kassandra and Sithonia. Both have excellent beaches, beach bars, hiking opportunities, music and art performances and many more. If you like to explore all that Chalkidiki has to offer, bring or rent a car.
