A stunning villa set in an absolutely beautiful garden with gorgeous views of mountains on one side and the sea on the other, and an amazing swimming pool. The photos do a nice job of showing off the place, but the reality is even better. The location is perfect - in a quiet, peaceful corner of the island near the very pleasant village of Colonia de Sant Pere and the pretty historic town of Artà, both well worth a visit. There is a nice little beach just outside the gate to the property, and big sandy beaches within 30 minutes' drive. (I strongly recommend renting a car if you're coming here) Everything was immaculately clean and the place is very well equipped; it's great for cooking big family meals either in the kitchen or on the barbecue next to the swimming pool. The pool itself is one of the nicest I've used, with a waterfall on one side, underwater lights so it can be used after dark, and the same wonderful views found through the whole property. The garden seems to stretch on forever - we kept discovering new areas - and so many tables you can eat wherever you want! Matthias and his sister were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. We arrived a bit earlier than the check-in time and the house was not ready, but they gave us some towels so we could enjoy the pool while we waited. Matthias also gave us some delicious vegetables from his vegetable garden. He was very helpful and quick to reply during during the booking process and while we planned the trip. All in all we had a wonderful, relaxing break. We were very sad to leave, and would certainly like to come back! I wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful place.

We enjoyed our stay at Matthias’s Finca very much. He is an excellent host and responds very quickly to all your questions. Check-in went smooth, Matthias even helped us with our luggage. The Finca itself is gorgeous and perfect for a family getaway. There is plenty of space in the beautifully arranged garden. Our little toddler enjoyed the pool with its baby section that comes with shallow water and a little sand box. In summary, we would highly recommend this place and will come back ourselves for sure. Thank you very much, Matthias, for the outstanding hospitality.
