Loon Cottage was a great spot for our weekend getaway. Loved the spectacular view of Big Moose Lake. We were able to spot two loons from the private dock, and we heard them calling early in the morning. We grilled steaks on the grill for dinner one night and went into Inlet for dinner the second night. Old Forge is a short drive for a little shopping as well. We also went on a nice hike along the creek and enjoyed the beautiful fall foliage. It was nice to come back to Loon and warm up with a crackling fire in the fireplace. Rebecca was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Loon Cottage!

My family loved everything about our stay at the Loon Cottage! It lived up to its name with loons calling many times throughout the day, sometimes even right at our dock. We stayed here in the second weekend of September and it often felt like we had the place to ourselves; only a few other guests that we could see or hear. Complimentary access to paddle boards, canoes and kayaks was an awesome feature that we loved. Couldn’t figure out how to turn the tv on and happier because of it. We truly have nothing bad to say and will come back if ever in this exact area again!

The cottage is lovely and Rebecca was helpful. The location is great and it was so peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to get away and enjoy nature.

Stunning views of big Moose Lake, beautiful cabin, very well appointed and comfortable. Cannot wait to get back.
