Steve was honestly the best especially when accommodating us in his home despite having two extra guest, the house was beautiful they where not lying when saying the picture don’t do the house justice, so many thing to keep us entertain even if we didn’t go to the lake, here are something we did learn during our stay it is 40 min away to the closes Walmart so I would stop at the one in Hebert spring before going also it’s dry law so the closes liquor store is 30 min from the home, the road going down to the house is a bit tight you just have to go down slow and steady, the construction of the home next door is no issue at all the workers are very nice and don’t start to early or make much noise ( you can’t even hear them from inside unless you go outside) depending on your service you might not have none but he has good wifi, overall will be returning soon !!

I can't say enough positive things about staying here. We took our blended family of 12 (7 adults, 3 teens, and 2 kids) away for 4 nights. The photos simply don't do this house justice. The teens took over the downstairs room with bunk beds including their own patio area overlooking the lake. The kids stayed with their parents in the bedroom with the king bed (one on a pull-out bed, the other on a couch), and there were 3 other rooms for the rest of us. There is a house being built next door, but until the day we checked out we didn't even notice the builders there. My partner and I loved quiet mornings watching the fog rolling across the water and the sunrise down on the dock by the water. The boys all loved fishing off the rocks, the kids loved the activities in the garage, and there was ample space for us all to spread out. We grilled a lot, had s'mores nights, and everything we could possibly need (including bug spray and beach towels for everyone) was right there for us to use.
