Amith was a brilliant host, he was responsive and so friendly. He cooked us a delicious breakfast and made us feel at home. The room was lovely, spacious and so clean. The pool was nice for a quick dip on a hot day. The location of this place was amazing, very secluded and nestled in nature but only a few minutes away from lovely restaurants. I highly recommend this place if you’re planning to stay in sigiriya.

Sunrise Cottage was the perfect place to stay to explore Sigyria. The surroundings are private and lush but it’s only a 5 minute walk from the closest restaurants. Our cottage was very clean with a comfortable bed and a fantastic plunge pool for keeping cool. Amith is warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He kindly took us for a sightseeing ride in his tuk tuk and arranged our onward transport. Breakfast was delicious, especially the coconut pancakes! Highly recommended!

Tout était vraiment parfait! Amith et sa famille sont très accueillants et chaleureux. Les petits-déjeuners sont compris et très copieux. Amith nous a également préparé les repas du soir (non compris) , mais vraiment excellents et très peu chers. L'endroit est paradisiaque, la chambre est très belle et propre, et les extérieurs et la piscine sont très bien entretenus. Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits très agréables chez Amith. Nous recommandons!
