Für mich war "Amélie" die absolut perfekte Unterkunft während Ferientagen und dem anschliessenden Sprachaufenthalt: zentrale, ruhige Lage, sichere Nachbarschaft, ein Traum von einer Wohnung, ein Geschenk von einem Innenhof und einer Terrasse, die Freundlichkeit der Gastfamilie, und, und, und,... Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen, da ich mich sehr, sehr wohl fühlte!

Superb air bnb in a perfect location. Right in the centre of Lecce’s beautiful streets, near good restaurants, gelataria, beautiful churches and the museums. We walked from the train station - around 15 mins. Lovingly restored apartment, with lots of original features and it is very spacious. All cooking facilities are useful and included are the necessities like oil, salt and pepper. There was no one in the next door apartment so the shared terrace was ours for the four days. It’s such a good spot, well equipped for nice summer evening meals and nice level of exposure to sun and provision of shade. Andrea and his dad who checked us in were so friendly and eager to help.

We made Casa di Amelie our base for 5 nights. We loved the apartment. Very nice to have lunch on the terrace. A bit cool to sit out in the evenings still. The appointment of everything was lovely. The kitchen had lots of pots. The sympathetic renovation is great - loved the mosaic floor in the bedroom. Washing machine very useful. We appreciated all of the recommendations by our host and our favourite was “00” Dopplezero. We did a bike tour which was great. And the combination ticket for the churches and bell tower was very worthwhile. Parking is outside the city walls. We did paid parking (€0.60 per hour). It was fine - we always found a park but harder on weekend days. We felt very safe. We enjoyed a couple of coastal drives. A great spot to explore from.

My ohhhh my!!! What am absolute gem of a city!! The apartment is perfectly located in the heart of it with beautiful amenities right on the doorstep and yet so peaceful at night. The communication was perfect and we were warmly welcomed by Andrea's dad, the lovely Massimo who took his time to show us around. The outdoor courtyard enveloped us with a sense of privacy and intimacy. 1 min walk is the fantastic Bar & bistro Flow, and for a great warm welcome and a fantastic range of beautiful wines Golosita del Salento is within 5 min walk. All in all, the location is out of a dream!! Can't wait to return.
