Wendy is the most attentive host and responds immediately to all concerns. The house needs some maintenance but the views and tranquility are exceptional and we had a wonderful time.

The grounds looked wonderful and really fitted the image advertised. The views were good and the first impression was positive. The walk down to the creek was enjoyable and the views from across the property wonderful. Wendy also organised access to a coffee plunger as the venue did not have one available. The buildings and furnishings however are a little worn and dated and the bar stools possibly the most uncomfortable thing we have ever sat on. The lounge area was comfortable although the couches have seen better days. Our mid stay housekeeping and gardening service was well organised and well done with minimal disruption. Disappointingly, on viewing the property it was clear there was no adequate second bedroom as the 3rd pavilion was an open air area with couches and 2 beds under insect netting. There was a small storeroom with mattresses piled up and the bathroom was open air and accessed externally As Roishin (Dec 2020) noted there is a significant amount of maintenance required on aspects of the property. While the pool was fantastic to swim in there are issues with splintering of the decking, especially around the steps in and out of the pool and there are broken and cracked tiles on the steps into the pool which are a hazard. 2 of the pool lounges are also in need of repair with rusted broken sections at the foot. The kitchen benches are in need of sanding and revarnishing both from a safety and infection control point of view. At the end of our first week we noted the oven did not work and notified Wendy. Fortunately we had not booked one of the advertised in house chef experiences prior to this discovery. The oven was still not working at the end of our stay. Whilst the property looks great the details need attention and some maintenance work.

This is an amazingly beautiful property in a stunning and secluded location. Our kids spent all day in the pool and the main kitchen/living area looking over the pool, which is especially lovely. There were some major issues when we arrived as there had been a recent fire on the property and one of the three bedrooms had burnt down, and we didn’t know until we arrived due to communication problems through Airbnb. It was difficult to decide whether to stay initially , but Wendy was very responsive to our issues and we agreed to stay on at a reduced price and really enjoyed our stay , despite some of us camping out in the lounge room. How could you not in this beautiful location?
