You will feel right at home in this charming & restored 5BR farmhouse. Located on 5+ acres near the great Catskills Forest Preserve, this is a great place for four season recreation. Enjoy some quality time with friends and family at this spacious and renovated 1900's farmhouse. With 5 large bedrooms, the house can easily accommodate 8+ guests. Make this house your home base while you explore everything that the Catskills has to offer. Our 15'x30' (8' deep) in-ground pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. No need to pack up your entire house- we provide clean towels, linen, and basic kitchen necessities as well as soap, shampoo and a washer/dryer. We have excellent Wi-Fi and multiple laptop friendly workspaces plus desks in two of the bedrooms. The house is located on over 5 acres with just a few neighbors around. The property has a stream and waterfall and plenty of wild space to explore and hike. Out front a wraparound porch adds character to the Victorian style farmhouse. In the backyard there is outdoor table with seating, a firepit (we provide stacked wood under the tarp in the backyard) and a BBQ grill. Enjoy the views and sound of the Roundout creek from the front porch or the babbling brook and waterfall in the backyard. Explore the nearby Catskill Forest Preserve with over 300,000 acres of forests with meadows, lakes, springs, waterfalls, cliffs, fire towers, wildlife and hiking, mountain biking and snowmobile trails. The main level features a large living room with multiple couches and a sweet collection of books and CD's with a stereo system. The dining room has a table that seats 8. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. There is a coffee machine (ground coffee) as well as an Espresso machine with pods. This level has one full bathroom with a tub. The 2nd floor has four spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. The top floor has the 5th bedroom and an additional living room with a TV, selection of books and games, and an elliptical machine. There is another bathroom with a shower. For your convenience, we have an infant bathtub, pack-n-play & booster seat available. House-trained pets are allowed with an extra $50 cleaning fee per stay. We strive to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. We have a local caretaker in case anything is needed.
