This place was 5 star for sure! Great location, clean, modern and only 1 flight of stairs! The beds were comfortable, the place was quiet and the shower was hot! Thank you!
This was my second time staying here at Luciana’s apartment, and I loved it both times. Everything is nearby and only a short walk away. It’s a very nice place to come and relax for a few days.
We are in the heart of the medieval center a few steps from the cathedral and from Villa D'Este and Villa Gregoriana.
Via del Riserraglio owes its name to the German painter Pilipp Roos (1565-1606) who lived here and used to close in a menagerie call " serraglio" in italian language, located in the homonymous alley various types of animals that he used as models for his paintings.
Via del Riserraglio is a small alley but contains different treasures: monograms of San Bernardino, a door of the dead, a newsstand (which you can admire from the bathroom window) and splendid windows at No. 6 of the beautiful Renaissance-style Palazzo Baglioni.
The apartment is located just minutes from the train station and a large public car park; Villa d'Este and Villa Gregoriana can be reached on foot in a few minutes; just a few meters from the entrance door is the shuttle bus stop to Villa Adriana.
