My stay at this house from February 10th to 24th, 2024, was an absolute delight. The cleanliness was impeccable, a standard that anyone who has visited Southern Africa would understand and appreciate. The occasional power outages were barely noticeable thanks to the equipped generator, ensuring a comfortable and uninterrupted stay. The garage was not only massive but also had ample driveway space, and the heated pool was a dream. The spacious bedrooms, picturesque dining room, well-equipped gym, and massage room were the highlights of our stay, truly making it feel like a home away from home. The house's decor and design were tastefully done, showcasing a thoughtful and sophisticated design project that emphasized convenience and luxury. The addition of a service kitchen was a splendid touch, especially with a visiting chef who prepared meals for us, elevating our experience even further. While I'm tempted to keep this gem in Cape Town a secret to ensure its availability for my future

Beautiful Villa with outstanding views. The decor is well thought out and very upmarket. Our chef enjoyed having a designated kitchen which is separate from the house kitchen - so there were never 'cooking smells' or noises coming from the kitchen during the dinner party. Loads of fridge space, and multiple fridges work well in summer. Bedrooms are all very similar which made guest allocation easy. Bedrooms are spacious and have a good size bathroom. They are actually more like suites and all have great linen. The housekeeper Edness is a treat - great sense of humour and super efficient. The whole team was lovely. As a DMC we work with many villas and 174 Kloof is definitely one of the better ones.
