We had a wonderful stay at Gîtes de la Vesée. Sébastien was an extremely welcoming and accommodating host, he provided us with a warm welcome and lots of useful information about the local area. He was always on hand to answer any questions we had. The Gîtes was very well equipped and felt like a home from home. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was a welcome relief during our stay. The enclosed garden was perfect for our toddler to safely play in. The swimming pool and pool area was beautiful and very relaxing. The Gîtes is well located to lots of places of interest. We enjoyed exploring Lille, the coast and Ghent. Sébastien also recommended some smaller villages which were off the usual tourist trail. We would definitely return in the future and recommend this as a place to stay. Thanks again Sébastien!

We hadden een heel leuke week met onze twee kinderen in het huis van Sébastien. We zijn heel vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen en uitgebreide uitleg over alle voorzieningen. Het is een heel mooie, smaakvol ingerichte en schone woning. De keuken heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en de aircos in de slaapkamers waren heel fijn. De pool is heel mooi en goed onderhouden en de wellnessruimte ziet er prachtig uit. Wel goed om zich van bewust te zijn dat er een toeslag voor het gebruik hiervan gevraagd wordt van 100€ voor 1,5uur. De hoogte van de toeslag zie je namelijk pas in het digitale informatieboekje dat je kort voor aankomst ontvangt. Dat zou duidelijker gecomuniceerd kunnen worden in de advertentie. Verder is de woning zeker een aanrader.

The gites is a lovely place to stay - the location is great - very close to Lille and Armentieres which are both lovely cities to visit and have lots of things to do. We also did a day trip to Brugge which was an hour away. It is in the countryside and very peaceful but 5 min drive from Lidl to do any shopping as required. The gite itself is clean and homely - exactly as the pictures look and had lots of homely touches. The pool area is clean and well maintained. Communication with Sebastien was great - he replied quickly and is a really lovely person and had a coffee with me one morning too. He has a lot of suggestions for day trips from the area - we only wish we had more time there! We travelled with our young son (9 months old) and Sebastien provided a cot and high chair for our use which was great. Thank you Sebastien - we hope to visit again soon!
