My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to get far away from the city, and this location was perfect for that. The house is in a very small town filled with kind folks we met at the local market. There is nothing that compares to being surrounded by nature in this way. Mark is the greatest host we have ever had. He gave us detailed directions and a binder of hiking recommendations that included pictures, descriptions, and difficulty. This was especially helpful as it helped us choose the perfect places to go for us and the dogs. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Our stay at this cozy little home was absolutely wonderful! The house was clean, the property was beautiful, and Mark's Guidebook was overflowing with helpful information about the area. We went on a recommended hike that was only a few minutes away (you really can just walk to the beginning right from the house) to the granite boulder cave, which I dubbed "The Cave of Wonders" 😆, and discovered an area abounding with peacefulness and delights. Mark was incredibly responsive to messages, clearly communicating all that we needed to know. The beds were some of the most comfortable that I've stayed on at an Airbnb. Having serious back issues, that's a HUGE plus. We loved both the indoor wood stove and the outdoor fireplace, and REALLY appreciated that all firewood was included. We definitely took advantage of both. All in all, I'd 100% recommend staying here. We'll definitely be back!

Mark, is the epitome of a Super Host! We appreciated all his efforts and communication leading up to our stay. This place was exactly what we expected it to be. My family and I had a great weekend and we look forward to revisiting in the future.

This was my third time staying at Mark's place and it never disappoints. We had the best time disconnecting and enjoying our temporary little space for the New Year celebration. The internet was fast and reliable, the satellite TV worked great, and the weather was refreshing enough to sit outside and enjoy the firepit while reading a good book. I cant recommend Mark's place enough! Can't wait to return.
