We loved our stay at Chiara's place in Pozzallo. The location was perfect - easy street parking and walkable to everything in town. The view from the sea front balcony and location directly across from the beach was why we had booked it, and it didn't disappoint. When we needed help with the washing machine, the helpful Maria was there less than 5 minutes after I messaged Chiara. We weren't sure what to expect from Pozzallo, but found it clean, bustling, and fun! So far, this was my teenage daughter's favorite spot! Thanks to Chiara and Maria.

Apartment is beautiful, but keys are a problem. There is only 1 set of 3 keys - one each for the gate, front door and to turn on electricity. Keys are welded in keychain so cannot be separated. If there are multiple guests and someone wants to go out, key has to be with the person in the flat otherwise they will be in dark. I went out leaving my wife in the flat, but she was asleep when I returned and did not hear doorbell, so I was locked out. Maria very kindly offered to drive over to let me in (did not need to do it eventually), but this could be avoided by a different system. When I wanted to go out to throw the trash, I had to take the key to unlock the gate and my wife was left in the shower in the dark. Apparently, this is done to make sure that people turn off the lights when not in the flat but is a major inconvenience which we did not encounter anywhere else in Sicily. At check-in, we were asked to pay 50 euro deposit and sign a contract, which is not described in AirBnB.

Séjour magnifique dans un appartement clair et spacieux avec une vue superbe sur la mer. Il est très proche de tout ce qu’il y a à voir de la Sicile baroque Superbe !!!

Gemütlich und praktisch eingerichtete Wohnung, sehr gut gelegen. Der schöne Strand, viele Restaurants und Geschäfte zu Fuß erreichbar. Im Erdgeschoss eine top Gelateria. Liebenswürdige persönliche Betreuung durch Maria. Sehr schöne Aussicht. Da kommen wir gerne wieder!

Lovely bright, clean, spacious flat with large balcony the full width of the front, with view of the promenade with palm trees and the beautiful sandy beach beyond. Maria met us with a friendly welcome, we were able to check in early which was much appreciated. We used the flat as a base for exploring Ragusa and Scicli which is doable from the local railway station. We enjoyed lots of lazy beach time and swam in the clear blue sea everyday. There is a wonderful gelateria immediately below the flat which had good selection of vegan ice creams - not just sorbets! There are supermarkets a short walk away. A lovely base.
