Es war wunderschön in Fataga! Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig. Die Dachterrasse bietet einen tollen Blick auf die Berge. Es war immer angenehm kühl in der Wohnung. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat reibungslos geklappt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Danke Fátima!

Definitely weigh up if you want Fataga's beautiful setting in the hills (good starting-point for cycling/hiking, but with the greater risk of cloud/rain), or if you want a guarantee of heat and sun (in which case choose Pto de Mogan). We were unlucky in having the wettest weather of the year and were very cold in the apartment (I didn't know there was a heater). Sat on the terrace wrapped in a blanket! The apartment is indeed like a cave, but characterful. The kitchen was underequipped in odd areas (wine glasses!) and definitely would struggle to cope with four people. The (limited) hot water is really scalding and needs careful mixing. The bathroom offers ZERO sound-proofing and its only window opens into the lounge. Hire car imperative if you want the freedom to discover GC's stunning interior/get down to the beach. Beware the rip-off merchant running the Mini-Mercado. La Tienda sells basics. Wifi didn't work for first two days but Fatima got it fixed. No phone signal indoors.

Great location for waking in the hills. Lovely small house with plenty of room for 2. Great shower and well equipped kitchen. Mini market and restaurants within 5 mins walk. The outdoor sitting area is up the spiral stairs and has sun from about 10am to 6:30 pm (in February). All in all a great stay in the beautiful peaceful mountains.

Oh, wow! Casita Saro in Fataga! What an experience! I will never stay at the coast again. Genuine mountain house, one of a few in a little estate. Nice layout, perfect bedroom with ceiling window, comfy beds, nicely refurbished kitchen, everything at hand. Impeccably clean! Fantastic rooftop terrace with a stunning 360 degrees view. Those unforgettable sunrises, the tranquility of the place, those fantastic, mountain echoes. It was such a bliss! We felt very welcome, local people were so nice and sincere. Driving was a bit of a thriller at the beginning but only for a couple of times. Perfect starting point for both inland trips and beach days. Amazing holidays all in all. We are very grateful for your hospitality and letting us stay at your place. Thanks for tips. Almonds in bloom fest was such a beautiful event! We’d love to come back as soon as possible.
