I was trying to find a place close to the University of Illinois campus for my graduation pictures and this place was perfect! Such a clean and cozy place to stay with everything we needed.

We only stayed one night here but wish we could’ve stayed longer! We loved the in town location and the room was so clean. Beds were very comfortable as well. Monticello is a quaint and lovely town with walkable shops and restaurants. My daughter loved playing at the playground right around the corner! We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

It was immaculately clean and very well appointed. We have family in Monticello and it was a great place to come back to in the evening. My only recommendation would be nicer t.p., but other than that it was terrific!

What I don’t remember in the listing is that there’s a common area outside the room with big leather couch and chairs and a tv. There’s also a common area kitchen and laundry area. Snacks were placed out for guests too. It was so nice to be able to get out of the room and have somewhere else to sit.

The host was very responsive and even had great suggestions for local food. We enjoyed having dinner (possibly the best burger I've ever had) at 3 Ravens Pub just across the street and walked back to our lodgings. The beds were comfortable and the space relaxing. I would definitely stay again.
