Jaycian Home was what I expected it to be based on the photos and description. The host was very responsive and attentive to our needs. They provided internet connection but reliability is not that good which is expected in the island. Siargao island has brief power interruptions which is common for the island. The host also provided recommendations for activities in the island. The place is best for large families wanting to enjoy the island and still feel that they are at home.

Jaycee’s homestay for those you want a place for multiple guests, at a reasonable price in Dapa. We stayed one night there because we were arriving late to the island and then the next day we were heading to General Luna. We loved the amazing hospitality of her family and the tour guide they provided for us while we were there. They were very flexible and took us in town so we could have dinner and also provided our transportation the next day to General Luna. The place is very simple and had the basic necessities that you needed. They also provide breakfast if you want but since most of our family had dietary issues, we said it wasn’t necessary. I loved how a few steps you were right by the ocean and loved watching the local kids surfing early in the morning. We hiked to a surf spot where most foreigners were taking surf lessons. It was a beautiful hike through coconut trees and passing through local neighborhoods. Even though it was a short stay, we loved the area!
