Beautiful house, but not water front.

Newer, large house in great location. Close to Balsam lake downtown. Great fire pit in back yard. Ample parking and fun garage space to watch TV or play foosball. Kitchen & family rooms were large and comfortable. Nice furnishings and decorating.

We had a great time! The place was very clean, kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment, had plenty of towels and space for everyone in our 5- combined family group. Even some toys for the little ones to play with. Access to the dock was easy enough across the street. It's shared with the cabin that has lakefront property there, but we didn't really mind too much. It was so nice to have the provided kayaks and the paddle boat to use, plus boat slips. Fishing off the dock was fun for the kids to catch and release small pan fish, and our group got some much bigger sunnies and bass out on the lake with our own fishing boat and the kayaks. The ad said pack and play provided, and we saw an old dusty one in the garage, but there was an actual crib in one of the rooms, so all was well! Overall great stay! Thanks!

The home was exactly as advertised, clean and very spacious for our group of 10 adults, 5 kids and one infant. The host was very responsive and helpful, answering all of our questions before our stay, and especially helpful after a massive storm shortly after our arrival took down trees and power lines at the house, knocking out the power for 10 hours on a very hot night! The host did her best to keep us updated on expected restoration, and had a crew there the next morning to clear trees, branches and debris! The short walk across the road and through the neighboring yard to reach the dock was a bit awkward at times, felt a bit intrusive to those guests, but not the end of the world. Really the only negative we had was the Internet. WiFi was intermittent at best during our stay, and the lake was extremely busy, but overall, we had a very good experience here!

The house is big and spacious with lots of room! Walking distance to town and the lake is just across the street! Peaceful and relaxing environment!
