We had a lovely time at Jukka’s, where we felt right at home. We especially appreciated the range of cooking equipment, which we made use of to save ourselves a little money at times. The place was warm and comfortable, and very importantly for me - there was a nice, hot and powerful shower.

Almost perfect for us. Great location, less than 10 minute walk to the supermarkets, the apartment had everything we needed to cook homemade food, just look for the child proof oven door…never seen this before. Really easy to walk into town and local buses 14 and 13 will take you to most places if you need them. Like the last review, we ran out of internet on the night of our 5th day , stayed a week. There is only streaming tv so if staying longer than a few days you might have the same trouble. Jukka was really good at confirming it everything and offered solutions for paying for more but we decided not too.

This apartment was better than expected. Perfect size for the 3 of us, could easily fit a family of 4. Well equipped , had everything we needed and more for the week. Plenty of kitchen equipment. Including Tupperware which supported us taking pack lunches for the day. Plenty of towels and bedding for all of us , including a washer dryer which allowed us to wash a few things midweek. Like some of the reviews state , there are belongings of the hosts around the apartment like clothes and toiletries even food but this was no problem for us , just added to the homeliness of the place. We also left food items behind for the next guests to use as Iceland can be so expensive : We ran out of internet on the first day and our hosts allowed us more and responded very quickly. Heating was super hot , we ended up turning it off and it wasn’t needed . The flat is warm without it . Shower was hot and good enough for the week we were there . Everything was walking distance - great location
