My family enjoyed our stay. This is by far the most unique home we've stayed in. Each of the 3 bedrooms was spacious, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to cook a meal, the decor was interesting & unique, the 3 bathrooms were nice and clean, and the outdoor surroundings were beautiful. The only complaint was from the teenagers. They wished there were tvs in each room. Personally, I liked that there was only one tv as it led to more family time. Another plus - the AC works great, which is super important with 100+ temperatures outside!

We have stayed at many Airbnbs and have loved almost all of them. One of the things we love about Airbnb is the variety, so we haven't yet returned to a place we've stayed. Lew and Kathryn's place is 1 of a few for which we would make an exception, hopefully next summer. Kathryn and Lew are both outstanding hosts -- very friendly and very helpful. Kathryn brought us lemon cake, and Lew showed us his art studio, both of which were great. Lew and Kathryn's place is cool in a quirky way which makes it a lot of fun. From a practical perspective, each sleeping area has its own sitting area, with the sitting areas for the king and queen bedrooms being private. This provides a great mix of providing space for folks to have private time while also having great space for group times. The area is beautiful and peaceful. For those who know Table Rock Lake, which we love, we saw the Shell Knob area described as the quiet side of the lake, which we found to be true. Highly recommend!

We stayed here to visit family; I planned poorly so I picked aq place on the map within driving distance to Branson and our family. They booked us with only a night's notice. Location was perfect, 15 min. from family and an hour from Branson, we felt safe and super comfortable in this beautiful place. It was more than we expected, the home had amazing views, and so much character, and beauty. Lew and Kathryn were amazing hosts. We will definitely be staying here in the future when we visit Missouri!
