We love staying here! This was our second time, and we hope to stay again. Plenty of room for our son and family to visit, fish, walk, and have supper in the eat- in kitchen. The front porch even had Christmas lights strung up!

The home was exactly as pictured, just a little difficult to find because there isn't a house number at the street so we kept passing it, but the instructions did say to look for the white house closest to the road, so that did help. The kitchen is huge and was well stocked, there were plenty of towels as well as extra blankets and sheets. My husband really enjoyed the ponds for fishing and the donkey and miniature horse were so sweet. The issues we had while we were there was the AC was struggling at the time, the dishwasher was not working and there were many huge--what I'm told are--"waterbugs" sharing the house with us. Really freaked me out, but my Dad hunted as many as he could down. I'm told they are common in humid areas where water is, so makes sense to be around a house with ponds around it- i just wish they had stayed outside. It is a precious farm house close to everything we needed.

We SO enjoyed our stay at Foxhound Flower Farmstead! Ashley provided excellent instructions for self-check-in, and we walked into what felt like my grandmother's farmhouse. Furnishings were comfortable, and the kitchen was easy to work in. We enjoyed seeing deer through the breakfast room window, a rabbit, and a curious squirrel who visited as we sat on the front porch with popcorn and a cold drink. If you just want to get away for a while and enjoy peace and quiet, or if you have a student at Campbell University, this is a great place to stay! Food Lion is only about 12 minutes away, along with several restaurants. We enjoyed movies on Netflix, and discovered a new-to-us Netflix series that we now love. We felt at home the whole time, and slept well. The water pressure and spray in the shower were fabulous! The floors are a bit uneven due to the age of the house, but that was the only tiny issue. If we're ever in the area again, we'll certainly plan to stay at the Farmstead again!

It felt like pulling into my grandparents’ farm. Beautiful, wide open space to walk, fish, feed the horse and donkey, and have a lovely tea party with my granddaughter in the front yard.

This charming home is exactly as presented. We enjoyed the quiet beautiful countryside while having a glass of wine on the front porch every night. The home was located in a convenient location to visit our relatives and see the various sights we had planned. We were traveling with my 87 year old mother and she felt very much at home. If the need arises we will definitely return.
