Buti's Akha hilltribe farm is located 30 km North of Chiang Mai, easily accessible by public transportation or car. Set in the valley between two hills or "Doi's" as they are called in Thai, away from the hustle and bustle of city noise, air and light pollution. We have 1 room and 2 room cabins as well as hill-tribe style bamboo bungalows available. Our open kitchen is restaurant sized and can provide Akha or Thai food (vegetarian, or not) with vegetables and fruit straight from the land. 100% organic, no pesticides. What we don't grow ourselves we buy from the small local markets. All depending on what's in season. You can join us for cooking, we are a community and we like to hang out around food! If you love to cook or bake we do too! :) Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is included in the price. This is a place to come and get rest and relaxation - the farm is quiet and still. You will have access to a Massage Sala and Yoga space. There is an on call masseuse available for treatments and courses (not included in price). We are also close to several Yoga options, Tao Garden Resort, Crazy Horse Butress, Mama Dhara, San Kampeng and Doi Saket Hot Spings. There is a free to use Orgone Accumulator on the land for energized meditations. Other amenities are a large sized swimming pond, multiple hammocks, herbal steam sauna, ducks/ducklings/dogs/cats to play with, and a fire pit for evening bonfires. There is also a stocked library with many books. Guests get plenty of free space and alone time. This is the ideal place for you to come and spend quality time alone or with another. Previous guests include writers finishing novels, musicians, yoga practitioners, and others working on themselves. Relax and unwind with the possibility to adventure out exploring the jungle and/or country side using our mountain bikes or motorbikes (if you have a license).
