We were a working horse breeding farm but have retired the horse breeding business. One horse still remains to add to the beautiful setting on our 40 acre farm. We are in the middle of a Mennonite community where it's quiet and serene in Somerset County PA. We only rent this room out monthly for the business professionals. Route 219 is just a minute down the road. Guests will share the bathroom and kitchen with other guests while staying here.

A Dollar General is very near. Short drive to town for groceries restaurants and laundromats. The scenery is beautiful. The host is very kind and helpful. You have the ability to cook on a hot plate, microwave or toaster oven full size refrigerator This is just like my grandparents house where I was raised. An old farmhouse. it was perfect and quiet. No complaints. I’ve been traveling for years and this is my favorite place I’ve ever stayed. It’s not a five star hotel. It just feels like home. On my next adventure
I spent three months at Joyce’s for my job. I loved the country charm and being able to watch the deer pass through the pasture in the morning. It was so peaceful and conveniently located to several things to do in the area. Cannot recommend enough!

We live on a 40 acre farm where it is very quiet and serene, but close to everything else.
Even though we live on a farm, we are just 15 minutes to the nearest hospital and 10 minutes from shopping since route 219 is in our back yard.

We are Morgan horse breeders living on 40 beautiful acres right outside of Johnstown, PA. and route 219 is right down the road so very convenient for travel. Within 10 minutes you can find grocery stores, strip malls, and many fast food and nice restaurants just north on route 219 and only 2 exits away. Somerset is south on 219 with the entrance to the PA turnpike.
