The house is as described - a bit remote, rustic, quirky, wonderful handmade wooden furniture. We enjoyed our stay. The location of the house was accurately given but some advice on the roads would have been useful. It is on route 136. Route 136 further south is closed (the road has disappeared) and to the north is very rough, going up to route 27. Much better to take route 137 from route 27 and cut across to 136 at Desamparaditos. Might be a bit longer, and is windy, but is a much better option.

We loved our stay. Beautiful nature, quiet, peaceful and clean. Lots of amenities to make our stay comfortable. The pool was nice for a refreshing cool down in the afternoon. Xinia was kind and responsive. We loved the decor in the space too! Created with love! Thanks for a great stay.

Bella Paz is beautifully unique and located in a great location. The pool area was lovely. Xinia is an excellent host that is very responsive to any/all inquiries. She provided excellent directions to find the house. We found the road much better coming down to the house from Puriscal/Barbacoas.

We had a lovely stay at Xinia's place. As others have said, it IS a rustic cabin in the jungle so it's best appreciated if you are a little adventurous. The house is very well appointed with dishes and amenities and the pool area was very private. Absolutely perfect! If you're coming with a family, the "ranch patio" area is huge. Xinia was the most communicative of any AirBNB host I've ever had. No matter how trivial the question - and I had a lot of them - she was very quick to respond and eager to accommodate our every need. That was super reassuring for our first visit to Costa Rica.
