We had a lovely weekend in Suffolk for my 25th birthday celebrations with 5 couples and 3 labradors! Brooks farm has a cottage cosy feel to it, house is beautifully furnished with a large open fire with logs supplied in the lounge. We did run out of logs, Garry was quick to attend to allow us to get more! Games barn was a fun, the men of our group played a lot of darts whilst us ladies enjoyed the hot tub!! Lots of things to do & plenty more games in the lounge cabinet. Lots of bikes to choose from if you are lucky with the weather, it was raining our whole weekend but this did not ruin it for us! Mel left us a bottle of Prosecco, beers & dog treats/bags which was a nice surprise! Labradors loved the large space of land to run around, such a lovely property. Mel had set up a pullout bed as requested upon our arrival and was quick to respond to any questions we had when booking! Beds were super comfy & kitchen was fully equipped! Great stay, will 100% be back! Thanks Mel & Garry

We stayed in Mel's beautiful farm house for a special 50th birthday celebration with close friends. The house and grounds are simply stunning, complete with little lake and hot tub which was enjoyed by all. The games barn is fantastic with table football, table tennis and a snooker (or maybe pool !) table. The football goals and the suitcase full of Lego were an unexpected bonus and those with little humans will know what I'm talking about ! The house itself is beautifully decorated with lots of little touches added by somebody with an expert eye for detail. The lounge with its log fireplace and huge sofa, the beams, the mid century furniture and the fabrics, all create a homely and welcoming atmosphere which we all loved. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough and would visit again in a heartbeat. Thankyou Mel

My family and I had a wonderful time at Mel's place in Suffolk. The house appears to have been recently refurbished and was beautiful throughout. The house feels very spacious downstairs with multiple places for different members of a family or group to hang out. Outside we made good use of the games room in the barn and walking in the surrounds. We prob didnt make best use of the hot tub as struggled to get it to top temperature, although I suspect that was more our incompetency. We explored the local area a fair bit and would recommend the Friday St Farm shop (bit expensive tho!), Aldeburgh (the Ed Sheeran recmnd fish n chips) and Thorpeness (Dolphin Inn was great for lunch and some petanque), and an incredible lunch at The Unruly Pig (one of best pub lunches/meals had in ages). Overall would recommend Mel's place and location. Would come again, ideally for longer.

We had a wonderful few days at Brook Farm - everything was perfect, and nothing wasn’t ok much trouble for Mel. The bedrooms are like boutique hotel rooms - seriously comfortable, clean and fresh, and with lovely linens. The bathrooms are great - a beautiful freestanding bath upstairs and, a brand new walk-in shower room downstairs. Both were immaculately clean, and so stylish. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need, and we loved cooking on the range. We’re already planning our next trip back so we can lounge on the huge sofa in front of the fire again, after a dip in the hot tub!

Great place to stay with lots of character, kitchen is well equipped and it all feels very cosy! Wood fired hot tub was fun to use though some patience is needed - thanks for the clear instructions! Our group of friends had a fantastic New year's stay!
