The Garden Cottage was very much as listed. It's cute, quaint and minimalist. A great for a home base for other activities. Amenities include a comfy bed, a decent sized table, fridge and micro, water jug, wicker rocker, hanging chair. The inside has fairy lights &several mirrored surfaces which helps to enlarge and brighten. The door into the unit is full paned glass across from a full length window covered w window treatment but allowed in nice light. There is a short walk (no worse than most Walmart parking lots) from your car to the front door ( wagons available). I think it's mostly important to know this is rural and rustic and more outdoorsy than any hotel experience. It is camping, but you have a roof, can stand up, and a comfy bed. Personal bathroom is outdoor like a campground. A very nice path around the property w stream for you to enjoy. We had great experience w correct expectations. note: Bathroom in the house is available if you prefer, just go in and use.

Her glamping cabins could be a fire hazard because they are all ran off drop cords I did not get a commitment from her to correct the problem. The cords were overloaded and hot to the touch creating a safety issue. I unplugged our area and slept without heat and lights. I’m not sure of where the toilet is plumbed to and there is sewage smell. She needs to bring her place up to code before I would recommend it as a destination.

Beverly was the most amazing host! She was very friendly and informative. She’s creative and a Master Gardener, so willing to share her knowledge if you’re interested. The thought and detail put throughout her property, the hidden gems and surprises will amaze you. The stay transforms at night too with the twinkling lights and glow in the dark rocks that lights your way. Her care and thoughtfulness embraces you throughout your entire stay.

Beverly is a wonderful host. She is so knowledgeable about her area. I want to go back because there are so many interesting places she told me about. I felt so welcomed and at home at her little haven.
