Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the value of this stay. Although we felt Covid safe I expected this small cottage to include drinkable usable water (extreme sulfer iron odor and taste), paper products( for the price you could toss out Unused paper towels and tissues. ), dust free walls, maybe some updates of blinds and flooring to feel cleaner, a cleaned up deck and the outside maintained. This was way overpriced even with a water view and fall colors. The resort location is amazing and with the prices would expect a lot more.

A wonderful and unique spot, this place is a throw back. Immediate access to the lake, kayaks and stand up paddle boards were a hit with the kids.

We had a great stay here. This is a unique place. It’s a house within a property with other houses scattered about. In between are old fashioned yard games. All on the lake front with great views. We had our 3 older kids with us. I liked that they could be independent and explore and play and we didn’t need to worry about them. Our favorite was watching the sunsets and then late night stargazing on the lake front every night. We were hoping for northern lights which we didn’t catch but the stars were so clear. The house itself was cozy and super clean. And as a family of 5 we really appreciate the 4 twin beds. Double beds always cause a conflict with the kids! :) This is a great place to downshift and enjoy family time and the beauty of Lake Michigan!
