Pelican Point Lodge is a 7,600 sq/ft vacation home on the shores of Island Park Reservoir with 1.7 acres of beautifully landscaped property in a gated community. We recently changed management and were surprised that, as the owners of the property, we were no longer allowed to claim ownership of those reviews, nor could we display them. Aug 2022 Pelican Point is a 35-minute scenic drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone Park. In the park, you will see steaming geysers, thundering waterfalls, and world famous panoramic vistas. While visiting in Yellowstone, you will most likely see native bison, antelope, deer, moose elk and bald eagles and maybe even a bear. Adventurers will discover fields of wild flowers and other natural wonders on the numerous hiking trails. "We thoroughly enjoyed the home and all its amenities. At this stage in our lives, we won't travel unless we can enjoy superior accommodations and this home was our answer to visiting Yellowstone without "roughing it". The home is spotlessly clean throughout with all modern conveniences and beautifully appointed decor. We couldn't have asked for a nicer, better equipped home for a family or group of friends to gather. We absolutely had a blast." May 2023 In addition to Yellowstone Park there are other nearby scenic areas to explore such as Teton National Forest, Harriman State Park, Mesa Falls, Jackson Hole Wyoming etc. Maps are provided. Pelican Point is an executive lodge with five master bedrooms in the main house all with king size beds, spacious closets and en suite bathrooms and lake views. The sixth bedroom is in a separate apartment connected to the main house by a breezeway. It has a king size bed, fireplace, kitchenette and en suite bathroom. These six suites are deluxe and private since they are each in different wings of the home. "This place is truly amazing. We are so thankful that our family got to stay at this house. The bedroom suites were beautiful. The views from each of the bedrooms were truly unreal." Sep 2022 You have access to the entirety of this magnificent space. There are 6.5 bathrooms and an open floor plan with lake views in nearly every room. The home has three floors with a common area on each floor. On the main floor, there is a well appointed kitchen and attached butler's pantry with everything you might need to prepare fine meals. The dining area has a spectacular view of the lake and is a perfect place to enjoy meals with your family and friends. "This place is absolutely gorgeous!!! Right on the water, stunning view. Very roomy and has everything you need for the perfect stay. 10/10 would recommend and stay again!" Aug 2022 For those who have some work to finish or would like a quiet place to read there is a large office/library with a fine mountain view. Internet connection is provided by fiber optic cable. There is a large family room adjoining the kitchen with a beautiful fireplace, comfortable seating and glass doors which open onto a deck where you can eat outside or just enjoy the view. "Awesome home on a spectacular location! Lots of great family memories." Aug 2023 There is the main bedroom suite on the main floor with a luxurious jetted tub, fireplace and walk in closet. Upstairs, there is an open loft and access to two king suites with a great view of the family room below. Downstairs has a fun open area with a pool table, fireplace, seating and glass doors which open onto the patio. On the patio is a unique fire pit where you could build a bonfire. There is a dining area with seating and a barbeque for grilling. Beyond the patio, is a grass lawn and then the beautiful sandy beach with private dock. You have access to the lake right from the backyard. Bring or rent water toys and fishing gear and get ready to be on the water! There are two king suites on this floor as well as a spacious theater room. "Nothing beats the morning sunrise and evening sunset over the lake, with the grebes talking and the pelicans floating by. We brought our jet skis and paddle boards and thoroughly enjoyed lake time." Aug 2022
