The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood of the village, called Radova. Neighbours are only present to one site of the garden. The other sides overlook onto country roads and gardens. The sunset is in full view, overlooking a forested hill. The Monastery domes are visible from the bedrooms and from the terrace. Monastic bells play daily with their sacred ceremonial routine.
Our neighbours are very friendly and eager to help. They respect our guests and we respect their peace Traffic is very light, with up to 5 cars a day passing by. An occasional cart pulled by our neighbour's bull Jiku is a special sight. And neighbour's goats are often nearby with their young. You will hear neighbourhood dogs barking at shadows and young cockerels "talking" to each other , and sometimes neighbours' chicken may pay a visit and look for worms in the garden. A quiet radio from across the valley may be humming in the background, telling you the hour of the day or the local news, in a fainted voice. Sometimes local tradesmen run their delivery vans calling for customers to buy vegetables, fruit, whitewash or collecting used appliances and rusty metal (we have nothing to offer).

Public transport is available from Chisinau city (Calea Iesilor Bus Station) and from Straseni Bus Station, in form of mini-buses (about 20 people). They run at least once an hour and start from the village centre, in front of the House of Culture. The bus station is about 10 minutes walk from our house. Busses run from about 6 am till 8pm. Driving a car is easy, by following Villa Radova Capriana on mobile maps. From the main village road to the house there is about 400 metres of country road which is made of stone. Access to the house by car is possible via 3 different streets - Nicolae Sulac (opposite to the Baptist Church), Maria Cibotari (next street down) and Codrilor street which is by the bus stop. The latter is a bit longer, but it is asphalt and you will avoid possible cars coming towards you on a very narrow stretch on our street.
The village has 3 grocery stores, a farmacy, Post Office.
