Amazing spot. Efficiency or a ship but felt like a treehouse. Great views and a very good host and great decor. We would stay there again given the chance.

Joao’s place was wonderful. He was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. The spiral staircase makes it a bit difficult to get larger bags upstairs, but there’s an outdoor entrance that is much easier in that regard. It is on a steep hill, but if not for the staircase and hill I would give it 5 stars. It is covered in books. And if you are ok without a tv it’s a great place to stay. Joao is a great host.

Joao is one of those rare hosts who goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and easy and he delivers. Oh and the house is lovely & magical, a perfect stay for my Mom and brother.
