This place is great, quirky and comfortable! We were a group of 8 and there were plenty of beds for us all. With just the one bathroom, it was a little tricky but not a big problem for the short amount of time that we were there (2 nights). We enjoyed the night sky, the spacious living room (great for a dance party or group yoga!), and the fire pit out the back/up the hill with great views of the sunset.

Mike’s place is amazing and he was a great host! He was very accommodating for our large group and all our dogs (which is hard to find!). We felt like we had plenty of space for 10 people + 5 dogs. He was very communicative, while still giving us plenty of privacy - check in/check out couldn’t have been easier and he even brought over extra trash bags when we ran out (thank you!). This space is perfect for large groups. It looks exactly like the pictures - it was honestly even larger than we expected. Unbeknownst to us, we booked our trip in the middle of Crestone’s 6-week “bug season”, so the mosquitos made it impossible to enjoy the outdoor space, which was unfortunate because the views are breathtaking and Mike has created some amazing spaces on the property. This just gives us an excuse to come back again in the future :) A few things to note: there is no AC (it was very hot in the domes, even though Mike did provide lots of fans) and no wifi (this wasn’t an issue for us and I think the ability to disconnect is one thing that makes this place/town so special, but I’m just noting this as I believe the listing states there is wifi). Crestone is an incredible place that seems to be untouched by the mainstream world. The energy is very strong and profound. Mike’s place was the perfect spot to dwell in that energy and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding mountains. I highly recommend booking Mike’s place (except maybe not in June/July)!
