Kate is by far is one of the nicest hosts I’ve met during my travels. She communicated well with us. She had maps ready for us. City centre is less than a 10 minute walk. Her recommendations were spot on. Bed was very comfortable and place was quiet. We had a lovely stay. The only thing that I would mention is that you don’t have control of heating; it’s tied to main house but temperature was comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Kate’s place is perfectly situated mere blocks from downtown Killarney and minutes from the start of the ring of Kerry. The space is clean and extremely well appointed. Kate was a gracious host and so kind. She helped us with recommendations and always answered our questions. She even gave us tips about things to do on our trip prior to staying with her. We would absolutely stay with Kate again.

Stop looking !!! If you are looking for a place in Killarney area, Kate has a great place and treats you special with her lemon drizzle cake and homemade brown bread. The kitchen is stocked with some sodas, yogurt, cereal, cookies, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and milk. The location is perfect for walking into town (7 min). And a great location for visiting the Ring of Kerry and Dingle peninsula (which I highly recommend). Bed was very comfortable. The only minor issue was not being able to control the heat in the morning until the heat was on for the entire house. With that being said, this is easily a 5 star place.

very nice spot with a separate bedroom and kitchen and sitting area. Kate was very welcoming and helped us settle in. very easy walk to the restaurants and pubs. my only frustration was not having control of the temperature. we were up and leaving before the heat came on in the morning .

Kate, was a good host and the fresh home make cake on arrival was great. The location was close to town and was an easy walk. Thanks for a nice stay.
