We enjoyed our stay at Valerie’s cottage. It is quiet, cosy, spotless clean and very comfortable. We felt right at home and enjoyed how close the cottage is from Doughmore beach and Doonbeg village which has some lovely pubs for food and a pint of Guinness! Also only a 10mn drive to Kilkee. Easy reach to the rest of Co. Clare. We did not meet Valerie but she provided clear instructions on how to access the cottage and kindly left some goodies and Easter eggs. Would highly recommend.

Valerie’s cottage is absolutely beautiful. The decor and design is very quirky and cool. The whole house was very clean and warm. We attended a wedding at Trump hotel which was very close by, as well as the local town. We will definitely be back during the summer months to this peaceful cottage ☺️

Wonderful and memorable stay in Ashe Cottage. Very responsive and generous host. Cottage is beautifully decorated as new and well laid out. Location is in the countryside and very peaceful yet close to all amenities including Doonbeg village, White Strand, Doughmore Bay and Kilkee.

We had the best stay at Valerie’s beautiful Doonbeg cottage! She has a beautiful eye, the bnb is so thoughtfully designed. It was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed and the beds were so comfortable. Thanks Valerie, would recommend a thousand times over.

Really enjoyed our stay, accomodation was exactly as it was in the pictures. House so cosy and warm. Toys/ cot/ chair for kids made trip so easy as less to drag with us. Having beach toys supplied also so helpful. Children slept as if at home. Breakfast basics supplied also and much appreciated. Felt very comfortable in the house and it's lovely gardens. Highly recommend and we hope to be back.
