As a female solo traveller, the usual worries were gone fast! I had such an amazing time at Toms Treehouse. They are the most wonderful and friendly family, I felt right at home. Tom and Naomi helped me with organizing and suggesting things to do around and really shared their culture with me. Tom speaks both french and english and Naomi speaks english, was a real pleasure to share conversations with them. It is such a peaceful place to just and enjoy the calm. Anna's (Toms wife) meals she cooked were really amazing, all the local food! and I even got to learn how to make Laplap and Simboro with Anna, Naomi and Pauline. Pauline and Peter were wonderful guides who accompanied me to the "things to do" around. They're really wonderful and a pleasure to walk around with and talk to. I stayed in both of the families treehouses and the view of the Volcano from both is amazing. Pick-up at the airport organized perfectly. Very responsive also before arrival. I'd love to come back someday!
