Hi, we’re Timberroot Rustic Retreats, a small, family owned & operated business that specializes in creating rustic spaces that allow you to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature. We own three properties in the Southern Appalachian region, Wauhatchie Woodlands, Welcome Valley Village, and Land of Falls, with a total of 45 accommodations between them. We’ve carefully curated our properties to allow our guests to commune with nature while enjoying all the comforts of home and more. The majority of our lodgings include full kitchen, private hot tubs, barbecue grills, and fire pits. Wauhatchie Woodlands is a collection of quaint, tiny-home, rustic-comfort log cabins on a wooded mountainside property. This natural setting is nested less than a mile from downtown Chattanooga, and allows for quick access Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and the surrounding area. Once an old trailer park, the May family has lovingly rehabilitated this 14-acre property at the base of Lookout Mountain into a tranquil rustic resort, surrounded by national forest. Welcome Valley Village consists of six beautiful cabins and three glamping wagons on a 17-acre gated property, surrounded by lush forests, winding trails, and over 900 feet of private riverfront on the world-famous Ocoee River. The property includes a beautiful riverfront pavilion and expansive deck, and the entire property can be rented out for events. Land of Falls, our newest addition, consists of four beautiful homes near Canton, NC. Nestled deep in the foothills of the smokey mountains, these properties offer unparalleled access to Southern Appalachia's best. Our most exclusive listing is Cold Mountain Lodge, a private mountaintop lodge on 36 acres, constructed with whole logs imported from British Columbia. The lodge offers a luxury experience with 350º panoramic views of the surrounding area. Coming soon - Pisgah Woodlands, this amazing North Carolina property is bordered on two sides by the Pisgah National forest.
