I was in touch with Jelmar and everything was great. Felt a bit cold first night, but Leonieke and Jelmar advised me what to do. Be aware, that it’s a bit noisy in morning, so better to buy earblugs. I have mine and it was perfect! The area is amazing! The lake and it’s forest is really a gem! Will definitely return.

Met heel veel plezier heb ik een tijdje in het geweldige appartement van Leonieke gewoond. Ik kan het echt aanraden. Het appartement voelt als een luxe hotel en is daarnaast huiselijk. En het is echt geweldig om zo dicht bij de Kralingse plas te verblijven, daar heb ik echt van genoten. Dus ik zou niet twijfelen maar dit appartement zo nog een keer boeken. Geniet ervan.

Leonieke’s place is amazing! Despite being close to the road it was very quiet. The place is right next to beautiful lake where you can go on a walk or a run. Within a walking distance there was many stores where you can buy necessities. Highly recommend!

We had a great time staying at Leonieke’s place. We were traveling with a 1 year old so finding a place in Holland that didn’t have the crazy Dutch stairs was hard. This was all 1 level so it was perfect. No stairs to carry all our bags up either. The location is right across from Kralingse Plass so we were able to enjoy a few walks in the park. It’s also less than a 10 min drive to the center of Rotterdam. We had a rental car and parking was always available in front of the spot. The kitchen amenities were perfect for doing breakfast for our son. Lastly, we appreciated the small welcoming details Leonieke did, gifting wine & typical Dutch treats! Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at Leonieke’s place in Kralingen for a month between rental homes and it was exactly what I needed. The hosts were helpful, respectful, and responsive whenever I had a question. They live in the apartment above so could bring an ironing board when I needed one. The area is beautiful right next to a large lake, which makes running very enjoyable. At the same time it’s well connected with a tramline 5 minutes away and rental bikes just outside the door. It’s been a perfect stay for me and I would highly recommend.
