Sehr angenehme Unterkunft, Gastgeberteam hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns zu Hause. Wir würden sehr gerne wieder kommen, wenn wir wieder nach Florenz kommen. Das kleine unangenehme Detail mit dem übervollen Staubsaugerbehälter war eigentlich “die Ausnahme, die die Regel bestätigt”! Da ist Diana als Besitzerin höchstens indirekt verantwortlich

This is a bright and airy loft-style apartment in a bustling neighbourhood between Santa Croce and the University. Access is very easy and the apartment is well-furnished and appointed for 2 guests (and up to 6 dinner guests, if you feel like cooking!). There are, however, many excellent osteria, trattoria and restaurants in the vicinity, as well as a bakery in the next block and a good small supermarket just 5 minutes away. Thoroughly recommended for a city break in Florence. Tall guests pay attention! The bed deck has limited headroom (< 160cm) with a substantial beam crossing the foot of the bed just 140cm above the floor. It took me a few nights not to smack my head on it when going to the bathroom.

My eleven-night stay at Diana's apartment was most enjoyable and highly successful. The apartment is centrally located in the Santa Croce district of Florence; beautifully furnished; and very safe (I was the sole occupant). The amenities were exceptionally good. The apartment is located in Via Ghibellina, a street very easy to walk and which leads directly to the Bargello and on to Il Duomo, both major attractions. It is within easy walking distance (even with a suitcase) to Santa Novella Railway Station, with connections to other Tuscan and also Italian cities and towns. There was a fully stocked supermarket, a fresh fish store, fresh fruit and vegetables market and an excellent cafe close by. In fact the cafe, with excellent bread, pastries and coffee, was virtually next door. I lunched there on several occasions and it was extremely good value for money. Diana was always helpful, courteous and prompt with my enquiries. I would highly recommend this apartment and host.
