The host needs to invest some money in the place if they’re going to continue to rent this as a vacation rental. The mattresses are worn out, the bedding is old and doesn’t match, the towels are cheap and extremely thin and don’t absorb, and the pillows were so bad we bought two new ones to use. The mattress upstairs was so worn out that a couple can’t sleep together without both falling into the middle. The downstairs bathroom door trim is falling off, the water heater only allows for one shower, then needs two hours to recover, and the dryer took 4 hours to dry 3 sweatshirts and 3 pairs of jeans, even on high heat.

This place was exactly as listed. We loved the location for our stay to visit family in the area. The owners were really great and responsive to a few questions we had. Kitchen has all the essentials - which was great since we were cooking some potluck dishes. I would stay again for the convenience and value! The water does have a sulfur smell, but it is just because it’s well water.
