This really was best location. Authentic Italian holiday. In old city of anguillara. You are literally next to lake, restaurants. Peaceful and beautiful. Can rent a paddle boat or kayak from one of the beaches. Don't rely on Go ogle maps for travel, it's not accurate, check out buses and trains before, no taxis here, have euros to pay cash for buses, not everyone speaks English so use translation app.

I'm not one to write bad reviews unless it's really bad. Vanessa as a host was very responsive and refunded our money as soon as learnt about the state of her apartment. From the minute we walked in the place looked abandoned, we like old places, this was not ok - there was mold on the wall in the bedroom, long dark hair on the dirty floor, hairs on the very old soap in the cracked dish in the bathroom, mold in the shower and a wet dirty rug in the bathroom, a dirty hair filled hair band on the empty bookshelf, mop and broom in a bucket in corner, cleaning products on the book shelves, no dish washing liquid and no bags for the garbage, open packets of coffee on the shelf, the spare pillows were stained and smelly and luckily there were other sheets so we could cover them for the night. We arrived late around 730pm so it was too late to find another place for the night, we booked for two and left first thing the next morning. Also a cenntapide in the sink in the morning.

First of all I want to express my gratitude to madam Vanessa. She is of the nicest person I have ever had conversation. She was nice and very communicative, gave us instructions with photos, recommendations about place and surrounding, helped to solve problems immediately. About house: nice, clean, cozy house with everything you need to spend holiday. Location is one of the best in Italy. There is a big lake with beaches around. Sunsets were unbelievable beautiful. For 2.60 euro you can easily take a train from the center of Rome to the Anguillara(train station) and take bus straight to the house for 1.50 euro. Nearest store is Coop market, about 300meters by foot, easily reachable. For this price you can't find something like this, even near. Hugely recommend it, especially if you're a couple and looking for apartment to spend holidays.

Siamo stati nell'alloggio di Vanessa un paio di giorni, la posizione è ottima, con due passi (due!) sei in riva la lago e ai bar, ristoranti e servizi presenti. Questo significa che non si raggiunge l'appartamento con l'auto, ma i parcheggi sono a pochi metri di distanza. È vero, come hanno scritto alcuni, che essendo al piano terra e così in centro, la sera e fino a tarda serata, si sentono i ragazzini che passeggiano, chiacchierano e si incontrano lì intorno, ma è inevitabile in quella posizione. La cucina ha un po' di tutto quel che serve, il bagno è un po' piccolo ma nel complesso, per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato, va bene. Vanessa è stata gentilissima nel darci tutte le informazioni sia prima del nostro arrivo, che durante il nostro soggiorno, scrivendoci per sapere se andava tutto bene e dandoci consigli su posti da vedere.
