Nico’s place was great place to stay, high up with a beautiful view over the water. It will take a lot of stairs to go up and down to the beach, that is not for everyone, we did not mind. Besides, Niko has a wonderful restaurant, also there he is a great host, working together with a great team. They offer excellent food, we ate there several nights and we were always very happy with the dish we ordered. Highly recommended! Thanks Nico and Jacqueline!

Zeer gastvrij ontvangen door Jacqueline, die ons hele verblijf goed bereikbaar was en klaarstond met tips en hulp. De locatie is heel rustig, waardoor de nachten heerlijk stil waren. Vanuit het dorp best een hele klim, dus handig om een auto te huren als het lopen niet heel soepel gaat (bij hotel Ariadne zijn we supervriendelijk geholpen). Ook een aanrader: eten bij Pantheon, waar Nikos de eigenaar is. Mooie locatie met uitzicht op zee, gezellige sfeer, supervriendelijke bediening en heerlijk eten! Kortom, accommodatie, gastheer/vrouw en locatie: dikke aanrader!

Wer entspannte Tage auf Kreta erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Das Appartement hat eine tolle Lage etwas oberhalb von Agia Galini. Aus der Wohnung und von der Terrasse, die man für sich allein hat, hat man einen faszinierenden Blick auf die Berge und das Meer. In nur wenigen Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Strand und im Ort, wo es ausreichend Geschäfte, Restaurants etc. gibt, um sich zu versorgen. Nikos, der total sympathische, freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, betreibt dort auch das Restaurant „Pantheon“, in dem man mit Blick auf den Hafen sehr gut essen kann. Die Wohnung selbst ist weitestgehend neu, hell und freundlich eingerichtet, ruhig und sauber und alles was man braucht, ist da - also wirklich so wie in der Beschreibung. Das WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei. Auch ein Parkplatz steht zur Verfügung. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder! Alles Gute, lieber Nikos! Bis bald! Jule, Peter & Kathrin

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad. We zijn zeer goed en vriendelijk ontvangen door co-host Jacqueline. We stonden steeds nauw in contact met haar en ze gaf ons veel leuke tips voor het verkennen van de omgeving. Ze was ook heel flexibel wat betreft het tijdstip van check-in en check-out. Verder genoten we van het prachtig uitzicht op het ruime terras. We vonden het heel fijn dat we verbleven op wandelafstand van het dorp, het strand en de haven. Tot slot was het appartement zelf proper, verzorgd en ruim. Alle benodigdheden waren voorzien. Wanneer we nog eens naar Agia Galini komen willen we absoluut terug hier verblijven.

This is a lovely apartment. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay in Galini. From the moment we booked the communication was excellent and the hosts, Nikos and Jacqueline, couldn’t have been more helpful. We were there for 10 days and our hosts arranged for the apartment to be cleaned in the middle of our stay, but also asked for a time that suited us, which was a lovely touch. Coffee on the patio in the morning was a joy and the view over Galini is wonderful. It’s a very quiet and peaceful location. If you know Galini well, you’ll know that Nikos runs one of the best restaurants in the town, The Pantheon. That is highly recommended, just like his apartment.
