We were fortunate to spend 10 days in August at this wonderful AirBNB. The house and location were everything we were hoping for, and more. The view from every window was stunning. The area is so peaceful. Morning sunrises and evening sunsets were breathtaking. I could not take enough photos. The house had everything we needed including a fully stocked kitchen and tons of linens and towels. The perfect vacation. Thanks Janice.

Our family of 6 spent five nights here, and there was tons of room for everyone (our 4 teens shared the 2 upstairs bedrooms and bathroom while we took the downstairs bedroom and bathroom). The decor is beautiful, furniture comfortable, and all spaces were super clean - it basically looks brand new and everything worked perfectly. The ocean breeze through all the screened windows cooled the house so well, and we loved hearing the ocean waves at night. The beach down the short path was beautiful and perfect for kids playing and long walks. Basin Head beach is a close drive and was our kids’ favourite. Great restaurants are 12-25 minutes away, but well worth the drive for the peace and quiet of the area (the kitchen is also very nicely equipped for home cooking). Great location for our day trips out to lots of other places on the island as well. And the host’s family nearby were lovely and helpful. This cottage stay was a highlight of our whole trip!

Couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Having the water on 3 sides of you isn’t a very common thing, very happy with our choice. Would 100% go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed this cottage. The last part of lobster season was fun to watch with boats coming and going. Proximity to beach was excellent, and it is close to the confederation trail which we enjoyed. Kitchen extremely well supplied. House was very clean. We saw Janice’s parents briefly and they were delightful and helpful (though didn’t want for anything!) Wd highly recommend this beautiful place.

I don’t even know how to start to describe what a beautiful place Janice has! I stayed with my parents, who are in their 70s/80s & it was a very accessible place for them as there was a main floor bedroom & bathroom that they could use - A definite plus!! The view was spectacular & my dad enjoyed watching the boats come in & out - he took a ton of pictures! We could head down to the quiet, very private beach for walks. Janice’s parents live on the property & were a delight -meeting them was a highlight & my parents left wishing they could have gotten to know them better! The decor is beautiful & it just instantly felt comfortable & like home. The stay was very memorable for us & I’m so glad I got to spend that special time with my parents in such a lovely spot - it truly means so much to me! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place, Janice!
