Overall, the home is a large gaited compound (much more than a villa) and the location at the top of the hill made for breath-taking views of landscape and surrounding cities, including Sour and the ocean. The pool is massive and well-maintained and made for great gatherings and unforgettable memories. The interior of the home is dated, with old furniture and things starting to fall apart, including stove, piano, and pool table which were in poor condition. The Natour is responsive but not the friendliest. My biggest complaint is finding the place at my night-time arrival in this poorly-lit country where G-Maps is still trying to decipher the roads. The task was made significantly more complicated with Natour locking the main gait the property manager sent me in a photo and having us look and try to find his much smaller/private side gait which had an unpaved, bumpy, inclined road to the main residence. He also hassled me about a thing or two at checkout which seemed petty.

As someone who’s been in dozens of airbnb rentals in Lebanon and other countries, this is probably the best one yet. The villa and its surrounding gardens and pool are breathtaking. It’s the ideal place to relax, swim, have a barbecue and a drink with family or friends. I had a great weekend at Phoenician landing and I hope to go back soon.
