My daughter and I spent a lovely and relaxing 2 nights at Damira’s house. The hosts were wonderful, the food excellent, and the location was spectacular with great views of the surrounding mountains. Highly recommended!

Really nice, newly-renovated rooms with very welcoming hosts. Beautiful views, nice farmhouse yard for kids to run around in or for relaxing in a hammock. The hosts were able to arrange for a guide to take us up towards Kol Tor with horses. We didn't use the kitchen, but the provided breakfasts were excellent and the hosts prepared us two multi-course gourmet dinners at an additional cost. The upstairs sleeping space is very comfortable, with a double bed, a twin bed, and a Kyrgyz-style sleeping pallet comfy enough for an adult for the fourth member of our group. The upstairs has just a sink and toilet, with the shower downstairs. Kegety is beautiful and this is a very comfortable, friendly place to stay. Damira speaks excellent English.

Damira and Daniel's house is a real gem. With a beautiful view overlooking Kegeti valley and a small orchard overflowing with apples, pears and plums, it is a lovely place to kick back and recharge. When I stayed there they had only just moved in, so were still getting furniture and appliances set up. Nonetheless, I had a very comfortable and relaxing few days. I was treated to incredible homemade food, including 'Dimlama' (Uzbek lamb and veg stew) cooked outside on the open fire, and a delicious crumble tart made with fruits from the orchard. It's well-located for hiking and other activities in the valley, including the must-see Kol Tor glacial lake. Damira and Daniel are fantastic hosts - with outstanding hospitality, excellent knowledge of the region, a passion for nature and a drive for environmental conservation. Highly recommended.
