Overall the location was great. Pamela was a very responsive host and provided us with a flexible check-out option which we appreciated. The house itself is on the older side and if you are coming with children there are a lot of house rules to follow and breakable items to be aware of. Lastly, the washer/dryer are not always available for guest use which is something to be aware of.

The location is great — close to downtown and Ski Butternut while also feeling quite peaceful and quiet in its little spot in the woods. The space has personality, each room has its own unique charm. The kitchen is big and well-stocked. Pamela, the host is super responsive and friendly. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

We had a WONDERFUL stay at Pam’s “Zen Chalet” - the place was beautiful, clean, and had everything you needed! The great location just outside of downtown Great Barrington made exploring the area and doing all local activities very easy. Additionally, Pam went above and beyond to communicate with us, help with check in and local recommendations, and overall make sure we felt right at home!! I would definetly recommend this quaint & fun New England town and this beautiful home for a getaway!

Pam and Jon Your home is just lovely. Everything in your home was terrific. All the extra touches, in the kitchen a welcome basket, milk in the fridge, amenities in bathrooms in case we forgot something. You thought of everything. Thank you for everything you are great hosts Cindy and Jim
